Hello, 2025!
and hello friends! With the new year, means new updates for Ashley Lee Photography. I wanted to share again what ALP is all about, the clients I serve, and the photography sessions I offer. Please keep this blog post in mind if you are considering working with me this year!
I recently celebrated my eighth year in business – whoa! – and I am feeling more excited than ever to offer these very specific, intentional services that I have curated over the years. I have always considered myself a storyteller, both in written form and in other art formats, and photography is no different in that sense. Through photographs, I get to tell stories – everyday stories, meaningful stories, love stories, and so much more! The specific types of stories I enjoy telling the most are as follows:
Elopements and Intimate Weddings
I find great joy in helping couples create their wedding days in the exact ways they want them to be – whether that means eloping just the two of them, or inviting their closest family and friends. Through elopements and intimate weddings, I have the opportunity to connect with my couples on a deeper level, and get to assist them in planning options of their day – from timeline creation to location scouting to picking an activity. Family + More
My goal with every session is to help people feel present so that they can make genuine, real memories. That’s why when you book a family session with me, whether it’s to celebrate the birth of your child or to document another year that passes, it will be about capturing and freezing these moments in time. To tell a story that is uniquely your own, even amongst the chaos of life, even in what some may say are ordinary days. All moments are precious and deserve beautiful images that evoke emotion – that make you cry or laugh or smile from ear to ear. The types of sessions I offer vary, from families to couples to seniors. A special offering that is new in 2025 is mindful living experiences. These sessions are unique in that they would involve limited prompts from me as your photographer, and more focused on capturing your event as it presents – candids and all! Boudoir
Boudoir photography holds a very special place in my heart. As a woman who has struggled at various times in my life with negative body image, these sessions are all about building confidence and holding space for the beauty that is YOU – inside and out! Lodging & Rental Properties
Lodging photography is a fairly new and exciting venture of mine, and one I have had a lot of fun with! It is a new type of photography for me, usually one that doesn’t include as many people in them, and more spaces and places. I have always really enjoyed landscape photography, and bringing my camera along during my husband and I’s travel adventures. Lodging photography gives me a way to combine landscape photography with my value in capturing life as it is in all it’s ordinary and extraordinary beauty.
